He holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Systems Engineering from the University of Essex (UK) and has contributed significantly to the development of ICT infrastructure and policy across the continent

Venansius Baryamureeba is a Ugandan computer scientist, academic leader, and technology consultant known for his contributions to ICT development and higher education in Uganda and across Africa. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bergen (Norway) and is a professor of computer science with extensive experience in teaching, research, and university leadership.
