On Sunday, 26th April 2026, the University successfully held its Guild Election voting process to choose new student leaders. The exercise gave students an opportunity to elect their representatives through a free and fair democratic process.
The election was organized and supervised by the University Independent Electoral Commission, which ensured smooth coordination of all activities. Polling stations were strategically placed across the campus to make voting convenient and accessible for students.
Election officials, including the Presiding Officer, Returning Officer, and Polling Agents, managed the process while ensuring compliance with electoral guidelines. Student turnout was impressive, showing strong interest and active participation in the leadership and governance of the University.
